| We arrived in Boomtown and while Bill was doing his thing on the outside, I was doing my thing on the inside; heating up dinner in the microwave. Well, that didn't happen. The number pad of the microwave was dead!!!!!!!!! NO MICROWAVE. So guess what? Once we get to a "real city," it's off to get the microwave fixed. If your not familiar with Boomtown,Reno, it opened in 1964 and has been a landmark of classic Reno gambling style for over 40 years. Boomtown is the first, or last stop before the trek over the mountains depending on which way you're going. You see Boomtown, Reno consists of the casino, a gas station, a KOA campground and ..... wait for it!!! ............ A Cabela's sporting goods store!!!!!!!! |
