Well we finally made it to the Pacific Coast Highway, it is really pretty. We drove through mountains and miles and miles of strawberry, broccoli, cauliflower fields, that just go and on, this is certainly the produce basket of America! We went by Vandenberg Air Force Base which has underground tunnels and does secret stuff, its in the middle of nowhere! They launched a satellite while we were driving by. We stopped for the night at Oceano County RV park that is two blocks from Pismo beach. Rt. 1 in front of us and AMTRAK in back of us! May have to stay here for the night, as all campgrounds seems full, all the way to our destination.
