Pair-A-Doxes (Norma) and I (Garyskydive1) we like to go out on Sunday afternoon and do some Geocaching in the area. Geocaching can take you to places that you would not be going if not for this fun thing to do on Sunday. We drove up to Port Charlotte to stop for our Sunday chicken dinner at KFC that is on U.S. 41 , after chicken time it was time to drive over to our first cache of the day. The cache is on the bike and walk path, like a lot of towns now days they have bike and walking paths that run for miles in the city's that we visit. What we had to do on this cache finding was to find the cache site by using GPS unit, locate the cache site and then we had to take a few pictures to show that we had found the area that was posted. We had to take some pictures of fossilized shells and send them by email to the owner of the cache. After a mile or so of a nice walk on the path we came to a another cache site where we found the container. The container with a log sheet was inside a PVC pipe that was placed in a hole that was in a cement electrical power pole near the path. People can come up with all kinds of ideals to hide caches to make it hard for us to find.
