Fields of gold travel blog

The next morning after breakfast I went to K Plaza to pick up a new camera. I got a cheap one as they didn’t have the one I wanted. Than I went back to the hostel and our pick up came. Jayme and I were brought to a different bus terminal this time. We had to wait there for an hour for our bus. When we got on it, we were well impressed. the best bus we have been on so far in laos. It was a smouth and quiet busride to Thakek.

From the bus terminal there we took a tuk-tuk to the travel lodge where we stayed for a night and rented motor cycles for the loop. We had dinner at the hostel and met an English girl and and Austro-Japanese couple who where going on the the loop aswell. We were discussing the rout with them and deciding where to stop. There was one other person to come along we didn’t meet him that night though!

Later in the dorm a polish guy came in and we talked with him about the tour and he said he was going to join us. The group was complete. The night at the dorm was horrible the beds were hard, as if the matrices were made of wood and the room was hot and full of mosquitos. I was just hoping that I wouldn’t have to sleep here again.
