A clear message in the almost-ghost town of Thompson Springs, UT

The Thompson Springs, UT (near Green River) area holds a wealth of Rock Art. On canyon walls across from each other are writings of both the Archaic People (2000-8000 years ago) and the Fremont Culture A.D. 600 to A.D. 1250. We are always awestruck at these areas knowing that we're seeing something made thousands of years ago from people who walked before us in the very same area.

We also took some photos of the nearby town of Thompson Springs, which is a modern-day ghost town of sorts. Although there are still people living in the area, places of business and some homes have been shut down and abandoned.
