It was only a 90 minute drive up to Greenwood, south of Indianapolis, where Camping World is located. The service personnel looked at the steps and verified that I needed a new motor. It was ordered and expected in early tomorrow morning.
They have a big parking lot with electric service and that's where I stayed overnight. I didn't bring the car, so I walked around the residential and business areas nearby and had dinner at a pretty good restaurant. If the ground was drier, I could have played miniature golf, but everything off the macadam was very soggy from all the rain they had here.
The motor came as expected, was installed, and I was on my way back to Versailles by noon on Tuesday! good going!
