| Finally! This trip has been in the works now for over a year, as we had originally planned to go last September. But when Brett had the unfortunate luck of rupturing his Achilles and going in for surgery last June, we decided to postpone our adventures so that we would still be able to explore the beautiful Andean mountains in the Cordillera Blanca as initially planned. Our bags (only taking a carry-on) are almost packed and we are SO excited to get there already! The plan is to spend about 10 days up in the Hauraz/Cordillera Blanca area doing some rock climbing and trekking before we head down to the Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu for about a week, and then the last few days down in Arequipa.
