Today is our 49th wedding anniversary.

We remained in bed after waking. No agenda!

We cuddled and talked quietly about our wedding day 49 years ago.

I told Marilyn that I still remember how beautiful she looked as she walked down the aisle, and she remembered that I was “As white as a ghost!”

Both of us admit to being scared and wondering “just a little” about “What are we doing?”

We agreed though that we would certainly do it all over again.

We shared a pot of coffee with soft music and the sound of light rain falling on the roof.

Jennifer called to wish us a happy anniversary.

We sat with our computers for awhile and decided to go out for breakfast.

It wasn’t long before we were heading into town to the “Mark Twain Dinette” where we enjoyed a breakfast of ham & eggs, hash brown potatoes and a couple of silver dollar sized pancakes.

Jennifer called again while we were eating, to let us know that she and the little ones were coming in for awhile.

Back at the RV, Colby stayed with me while Jennifer and Marilyn took Lauren and went shopping.

Colby and I had some fun with a great pillow fight followed by a DVD movie, “Second Hand Lions”.

He was so good that I served him some ice cream first, then a hot dog and some shell macaroni and cheese.

The movie had just ended when the gals returned. They had been to a sale, had the oil changed in her car, and stopped at McDonalds to pick up some lunch.

They ate lunch at our picnic table and I joined them briefly.

We gave Colby a scooter picked up at the sale and I showed him how to ride it. He seemed to like it a lot and was having fun with it right up to the time for them to leave. He will be back here tomorrow so I know what I’ll be doing then. LOL

Marilyn & I took our showers, dressed and drove over to Steve & Cathy’s, then rode with them out to Indian Creek Campground, to see Bob & Janet’s new Mobile Suite Fifth Wheel. Dennis & Sonja joined us and the gang enjoyed being together and sharing a meal again.

Bob & Janet’s new RV is absolutely beautiful and we had a fine time with good friends and good food. Sitting around a campfire after the meal was especially relaxing and fun.

So another fine day drifts slowly to a close.

Life is Good!
