Today was a busy day and tomorrow will be get away day! We started early with taking our "toad" (Chevy Cobalt) to the dealership for an oil change and check on a noise. Long story short we got the noise fixed under the extended warranty and the 50,000 mile maintenance done for an arm and a leg. Went to lunch with a neighbor, loaded the RV with all my clothes and all the bath supplies, went shopping for birthday gifts, went to the bank for $$ and then went to Peter Piper Pizza for the Birthday Party. Our oldest granddaughter Kayla will be 12 on June 5. Kayla is as tall as her mother and when she wheres boots with heels like tonight she is taller. Ellie will be 5 on June 10. We always try to celebrate their birthdays before we hit the road. Then we get back for the twins birthday in October. The pizza was excellent and the price was great. It was $62 for 5 adults and 5 kids with 2 large pizzas - 2 personal pizzas, ice cream, 110 tokens and soft drinks. We will go back again. As you can see from the pictures the kids had a great time and so did Nana and Papa, but to tell you the truth, I am exhausted. We have to pick up the toad in the morning and then a repairman is coming to fix our awning at 8:30am. When that is complete we will hit the road. Not going very far tomorrow only about 55 miles to our first stop. There we will get a good nights sleep before continuing on to Bullhead City where we will leave our RV for Thursday night and drive to Vegas to see our friends Sue & Chuck Mowat. It will be a short visit, but worth the effort. Catch you tomorrow night!
