Old Zagreb tram

New Zagreb tram

The Cathedral under renovation

ooh golden angels things.

What takes longer than the bus ride from Plitvice NP to Zagreb?

Waiting for the bus to Zagreb to turn up. Over 2 hours waiting on the side of the road. about 1hr 50 minutes to get there by bus.

Plus it was the same bus drivers who dropped me off at the wrong place.

Anyway arrived in Zagreb and caught the tram to my hostel, which is a bit out of the way but near a tram stop. Just for my father who requests photos of trams, i've added an old blue tram and a new blue tram photo. I'm sure Dad will come back and tell me the first one is a class 6f tram with a particular guauge and where it was made.

Zagreb, though looks to be a beuatiful city. Out of all the Balkan capitals I think its the nicest. Its a shame I'm only here for 1 night. But zagreb was a casualty of the detour to Sarajevo.

Anyway not much more to write, off to Ljubljana tomorrow. Probably stay there and do day trips from the city at this stage.
