| Memorial Day is here with June right around the corner. I can’t believe it’s that time of year already. I hope all of you are taking time today to think about our service men and women who have sacrificed so much for us. Pray for the families of those men and women who have to go on with their lives, without their loved ones. Thank God for our freedom and our way of life. So many in the world will never know what freedom is really like. We are so blessed. No matter what you are going through in your life, we have it better than 95% of the rest of the world. Freedom comes with a price and so many have given their life so we might have life. Let us not forget that. We took a bike ride around the lake this morning. We got to see ducks, geese, and an Osprey nest with a female sitting in it with the male bringing her sticks and fish. How cool is that? By the time we got back, it was lunch time. Of course it was rain time also. We talked about the rain at lunch yesterday. We decided that it’s nice and that it’s different than what we are used to, but we are missing the sunshine. This is good for us as we realize we would not want to take a workamping job in any place where it rains all the time. We have been working on the journal today so we can try and get caught up before we move to Cheyenne, WY tomorrow. Why is it that we seem to have less time to do everything now? How did we get everything done when we were working? I know, I know, most of you are saying “Let me try it - I’m sure I can get everything done”. Ok, I will quit complaining. Well, I wasn’t really complaining, just wondering. |
