2nd Geocache

Sue and I were introduced to geocaching when we were in North Carolina over Easter. For the uninformed, geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using a GPS or maybe a smart phone. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. The caches contain small objects like toys, medallions, etc. and usually a log to sign to record who has found it. It looks like geocaching is very compatible with RV travel. As with everything there is a web site (www.geocaching.com) that you can go to to find out more and if you like what you see register and you can become a member.

We picked a few easy ones (i.e. located close to the road and not requiring too much exertion on a hot day) to try to find. We found 3 of 4. The one I missed was about 50 or 60 yards into the woods and I couldn't find it before the sweat got to me.
