Awesome rock formation in the Grand Canyon

| We decided to stay in Williams, AZ on more day and wanted to see the Grand Canyon one more time. The boys and I woke up and rode our bikes almost 3/4 of a mile straight up a mountain to white lake. We walked across the dam and hiked up the mountain into the rough rock area. The lake with the mountain right next to it was a nice site. We hiked back down the mountain and rode down the huge hill back to the RV. We picked up Missy and went headed out for another viewing of the grand canyon. Today was clearer and after a nice lunch at The Grand Canyon Steakhouse we re entered threw the South Rim Gate. We went to the visitor center today and walked the 1.2 mile rim walk they have laid out. It was spectacular and we got some great views that were totally different than the other day. We head to Laughlin, NV tomorrow which is like a little Las Vegas on the Colorado River. |
