Today we set out to explore the Roswell International UFO Museum & Research Center. All along Main Street we spotted little green aliens in front of different stores and establishments. Obviously, the people of Roswell are quite comfortable with the invasion.
As we entered the Museum and approached the reception desk, the clerk called out to us and said "Why...you're from California!" Doug asked her how she knew that and she said "Well you have a distinctive look about you!" Hmmm...evidently we are more conspicuous than the sighting of green aliens everywhere in town!!!
The museum is well done and full of firsthand accounts from eyewitnesses to spaceships supposedly from outer space. There are numerous documents detailing the famous spaceship crash in July 1947 when it is rumored that 3 small aliens were discovered at a crash site and transported to Roswell for further research. It is believed that there was a huge government cover up and only upon their death beds did top officials finally confess to family and friends the true story of what they had witnessed back in 1947.
We watched a movie titled "Fire in the Sky", it was based on a true story of Travis Walton and how he was abducted and used for experimentation at the hands of alien beings. The scenes during the experiment were pretty graphic and gruesome and very realistic. I whispered to Doug that the young boys sitting in front of us were probably going to have wicked nightmares for weeks! He whispered back to me "THEM??? I think I'm going to have wicked nightmares for weeks!!!"
After touring the collection of articles, statements and first person accounts, I can't say that I discount the reports. As far as I'm concerned...anything is possible.
