Patricia, Laurie and Dave at local Waveland beach

Paul updates our website from our cottage living room at 28.8K!

Beautiful beach, water like swimming in tea.

Cloud formation over the Gulf of Mexico

Our cottage is a great 2 bedroom place, about 5 blocks from the beach. Cost for 7 nights was only $445!

In spite of a weather forecast showing 60% rain and heavy thundershowers, today is bright and warm. A walk to the beach found the water nice and warm, but pretty brown from all the wave action of the past few days. We spent a relaxing afternoon soaking up the sun, while Terry went golfing.

In the evening, Dave and Paul drove to Mobile, Alabama to visit the 'Pride of Mobile' barbershop chorus. It's a group of about 15 men plus their female director. They sing relatively in tune, but display a lack of energy that had Dave pining for the Thunderbirds.

Laurie, Patricia and Terry went for dinner in Bay St. Louis, just down the road. Dinner at the 'Dock of the Bay' was good and the local frogs serenaded the group. The trio evidently made an impression on the place. The couple at the next table, in between bitter complaints about the service, struck up a conversation. The female member of the couple declared 'You ah the most ineresting people in thas restaurant'.
