We plan to start our day at the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site. I check their website to see what time they open. They are not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. We change our plans.
We now are going to pass Philadelphia at rush hour. This is not good. We take the PA Turnpike all the way to the end. We see traffic at a stand still in other directions. We never have to slow down.
We cross NJ on Route 206 and then the back roads. This is more like our style of travel. We are home by 10:30.
It has been a great “short trip.” Thanks again to all who were concerned for our safety along the way. We hope you have enjoyed following along and viewing our pictures.
