We got away from Adelaide nice and early and had a great trip down the coast to Beachport, stoppping in Meningie and Robe along the way, for morning tea and Mother's Day lunch, respectively. Very windy and cold here but we are right on the beach, so to be expected.
Monday, we headed to Southend - a very pretty little township at the other end of the bay here, and then on to Penola, with a long visit to the Mary MacKillop Centre, followed by lunch and a quick visit to see my old friend, Helen's brother-in-law, Baden Sharam. Missed Raelene (Helen's Sister) as she is heading to Victor Harbor to join her Parents and Helen there for a couple of days. A few quick showers throughout the day but long periods of sunshine. went for a walk along the foreshore here into town when we got back - I had FOUR layers of clothing on!! How unusual for me but the wind is bitingly cold!!
Going back to Robe for a look around tomorrow, (Tuesday) then a few quiet days around here until we head down to Port MacDonnell and catch up with Helen, who returns home on Friday.
