The beginning...we are packed and off

| Last night we were in Lucca. We took the train from Riomaggiore to Pisa, picked up our car and drove north yesterday. We drove to my family town and tried to find a Mugnaini home, but were not able. We drove then to Lucca and will share the pictures in the next group. But here is Cinque Terra in brief. Then I will share more of our adventures. By the way...I flunked trenitalis big time. But we made it here. The GPS, George and I fought all the way, but it finally got us to this most beautiful place in Siena. We had a lovely glass of wine made by the family that owns this place...and I am going to attempt to select some pictures. Then more... we are in heaven today. Ciao |
