We have been busy checking out areas in Montana that are close to the Canadian border. We want to park somewhere near and be able to go in and out for exploring parts of British Columbia and Alberta. Today we visited Eureka, Montana. It is only a few miles to the border. It seems to be the perfect spot for our next move.
It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and has some of the most unique stores we have seen. We visited one today and are saving the rest for later. :-) It also has a very cool museum and lots of great restaurants, one is famous for the "Bubba Burger" as seen on Regis & Kelly.
Here is a paste about the store we visited. They have a lot of fur products, I prefer seeing them alive, but it was still cool to see.
PASTE: The Kootenai House is considered one on Montana’s most unique stores and home to wonderful Glacier Wear, manufacturers of handcrafted fur garments and accessories. They also make authentic Hudson's Bay and Witney Blanket Capotes and Canoe Jackets. Each item is manufactured with the utmost in quality and offered to you at wholesale prices.
