| We're here. We arrived last night after a day of travel. Sure am glad we were in business class. It was comfortable and tasty too. We left Las Vegas at 6:00pm flew to LAX. There we got to wait in the Lounge instead of with the masses. They have cocktails in the lounge, very nice and snacks. We flew to Munich overnight and landed at 3:00 in the afternoon. Had a layover there for three hours and I got more wine and more snacks. We then got on another plane and flew here. We landed around 10:25pm. The airport was deserted except for a few arrivals, no information booth... so no one to tell us how to get transportation to our hotel. I have now learned how to dial in Italian and it is a very long number. We found a man who works for a different hotel and he called our hotel for me and they came and picked us up. Got up this morning and had cappuccino and croissant for breakfast....oh so delicious. Today we head to Cinque Terra and have our first experience with Italian trains. Will send more when we have a connection. Ciao |
