Took it slow today. Woke up and did some light weight training and swam in the pool with the boys. Push ups and light boxing followed and then to a real southern brunch at the River House on the bank of the Mississippi river. Man that river moves fast and looks treacherous. The brunch had real homemade fried chicken, crawfish bisque, grits, biscuits, ham, prime rib, and bread pudding. Needless to say I ruined my earlier exercise. We were loaded and on the road by 3pm and it was only 130 miles to Lafayette, LA. It was a nice drive because you travel over low bridges that go miles threw the swamps and bayous. We are staying at another KOA. This one is very nice. On a small lake with peddle boats. Dinner was at a local pizza joint called the Pizza Palace. Lets just say the cajuns need to stick with crawfish stew and killing alligators.
