On Our Way For Some Fun Apr 29, 2011

The camper was packed up on Thursday and all we had to do was to thrown a few things in the camper on Friday after Norma wanted to see SOAP'S on TV before we leave after 11 am. We had some rain just before we were ready to leave to head on up the road. We stop at Wendy's up the road at Jones Loop Road where we usually stop for lunch if we leave around 11 from the house. After lunch it was a drive for about 2 hours and we would be at the music festival, well it was not to happen like the other times that we have made the drive to Dade City, Florida. We got to a place where a vehicle accident or "CRASH" had happen on the interstate. It had backed up traffic for miles and we were stuck because we were between exits and did not know for sure where the crash was on the interstate. So we drove down the road, stop and go for about 10 miles. This only took us about two hours to get to the exit and we drove by the accident to get to the next exit that we were getting off.The two & 1/2 drive took us almost five hours from the time we left the house. We got to the camp grounds around 4:30 in the afternoon and set up the camper on a 45 degree angle, the ground is about the worst place in the whole camp ground to place your camper and we got it. I had just got some more leveling blocks from camping world and just had enough to level out the camper. What else would happen to us today, we had a nice dinner and took the dogs for a walk before going up to the stage to see what is going on. The shows were great, the sound was some rock,country,Greek, German and different music from all around the world. What a great evening we had at the show. It is getting late the show was over around mid-night and we had to take the dogs for a walk and still got to take a shower. By the way, this festival is called "string fest" all kinds of string insturments for this show.
