I81 in Shenandoah Valley

Winnie at Shenandoah Valley Campground

Campground Waterfall

Local Rabbit

We're taking the "inland route" through York and Gettysburg, PA to I81 in the Shenandoah Valley. I wanted to scout out some places for our summer trip.

No Camp Walmart this trip (Sue doesn't like not having electricity for the night). We're staying at the Shenandoah River Campground, right along the river. It's a nice place with 4 hot tubs, a waterfall, and some of the biggest rabbits (domestic but running loose) I've ever seen. There is alot to do in the area so I think we'll come back here this summer and spend some time.

You may have noticed were not towing a car this trip. We really won't need one at the rally, but I have some bad news for all of you Intrepid fans. My trusty old 2002 Intrepid met its death a couple of weeks ago when it was drilled by a Chevy Trailblazer while it was sitting in front of our house. We're waiting for a check from the insurance company to fet a new car. I'll miss that car.

We'll hit the road in the morning and should pull into Marion in the afternoon.
