The Wild Ride travel blog

We decided to make an early start and left the RV Park at 6:20 am in order to beat the traffic, stopped somewhere on the route and ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Bob drove 455 miles to Souther Illinois where we set up camp at 2:40 pm at the Wayne Fitzgerald State Park at Rend Lake. Bob built a fire and we sat back, relaxed & enjoyed the lake view. We roasted hotdogs but only got to dream of roasting marshmallows as I forgot to pack any in the camper (Boo Hoo!)...(bet I'll have some in the camper the next time). Bob later watched TV and I got on the computer.
