We were back on the road today, leaving behind Myrtle Beach, and riding along the coastline, through Wilmington, Surf City, Jaksonville, Atlantic Beach, Beaufort and finally arrived at Cedar Island, North Carolina. The ride was slow, but the scenery was something else. We stayed at the Driftwood Motel, a little motel right beside the Ferry landing. We walked over the sand dunes behind the hotel, and there were miles and miles of nice sandy beaches. This was the start of our ride across the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
