Vern & Mary's Excellent RV Adventure travel blog

Still cold and windy this morning when we left to drive into Lawton to see the Prairie Museum and then go next door for the Comanche Nation Museum. The coolest item on display was The Barite Rose Rock, the State Rock of Oklahoma, I don't know how to describe it so I guess you'll have to look it up on the web. After lunch we drove over to Fort Sill to see their military museum, we got on base ok but the museum is closed on Mondays. Still early afternoon so we took a drive to Duncan a town about 25 miles east of Lawton to the Chisholm Trail Indian Casino, once again after a couple of hours and a small donation we called it a day and headed home.
