Today was an awesome day, I loved every minute from the start to the finish. We started out with a lovely breakfast at a hole-in-the-wall Italian coffee shop while we were waiting for the tour bus. It took an hour to drive around central London before we were on our way to Warwick castle. I'm not sure whether I was awed by the castle or the grounds surrounding it, probably the grounds! An hour was truly not long enough to enjoy what the castle had to offer. Next we headed to Stratford on Avon to see Shakespeares house. I enjoyed the village atmosphere more than the house, the village was truly quaint! Driving through the Cotswolds was my favourite part of the day. The bus driver was in a hurry and it took all my diplomatic strength not to slap him and tell him to slow down. I put my camera on sport and just clicked away and amazingly most photos turned out! Finally we drove into Oxford and it was just the most beautiful city I have ever seen. I felt inspired all the way through the university and I now understand the respect that is given to scholars from these places. A wonderful, wonderful day!
