| I actually had to get up at 5:45 this morning. Ugh! We had to be at a RV service center by 8:00. They had to replace the freezer door. That's a long story that I won't bore you with! Fortunately, it was an easy fix and we were on our way by 8:40. Cut across from Ocala to Jacksonville area on Rt. 301. Had never been that way before and it was a pleasant drive. Then on I-10, up around Jacksonville on I-295 and connected with I-95. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 miles. Got through GA and about 53 miles north into SC where we've stopped for the night. It was a pretty good driving day. Weather cooperated except that the heat followed us north. Actually saw 90 at one time. Not what I'd hoped for being further north. Quiet night tonight. Just over 300 miles on the schedule for tomorrow so will be early to bed. |
