The sign said "Historic Village" so we exited and drove about a mile to this little wide spot. A library, small market and Tui Bar/Hotel. Outside were many Hot Rods and about 50 motorcycles. Lots of Suzuki's, 1 Honda CB4000 and a CBR250, several Triumphs, a couple of HD's, 1 Aprilia, & 1 Ducati. No Yamaha's or Kawasaki's at all.
We had a great lunch, Linda's had a hamburger and the patty was about 1" thick. I had a BLT that was pretty good except the bacon was Canadian bacon. A thin slice of ham!
After lunch we visited with a NZ family, the young mother was originally from the states but had lived here about twenty years.
