The Travelin' Tarheels enjoyed being together, as always. Since there was a lot of rain, we played games, put together puzzles, played cards, Scrabble, and Dominoes. We went out to eat, one of our favorite pass times. After the rally ended, we stayed an extra day and toured Elizabeth City. The Museum of the Albemarle was impressive. The displays were well done and the staff was friendly. On Sunday, April 3, we drove up to Virginia Beach to visit our son and his family. It was only a little over an hour drive from the campground in Shawboro. We attended church with them and then had lunch at Panera Bread. After lunch, we relaxed in John Jr.'s back yard awhile, shopped at the Navy Exchange, and then headed back to our motor home.
