Arrived Croatia in the town of Zadar, picked up rental car and headed south to gorgeous weather. Coast is packed with bays, villages and islands. No evidence of civil war of the 1990’s. Some current housing and commercial building in progress, but locals complain of the Croation banking crisis. It’s early in the season, so there are almost no tourists. Many restaurants, etc, not yet open.
