We have now stayed in 3 or 4 different RV parks here in Ft. Stockton - lost count. But first...
You should have witnessed the excitment in the trailer this morning at 6am. Wait, don't think about that - really bad image. Stacy and Sharon were rudely awaken by a beeping noise of an insistant nature. They both thought it was one of the water alarms telling them they had a water leak but no, that wasn't it. The very loud beeping was coming from the area of the couch but quit shortly after they began their source search. Later investigation revealed that they had no idea what was making the noice. It wasn't the air mattress stored behind the couch or anything in Sharon's purse.
We left Lss Cruces about 9:30 which put us through El Paso about 10:30 and traffic wasn’t too bad. We have a really bad taste in our mouths for that town because of our first experience of driving though it when there was rain and construction. We had lunch at a rest area and then Sharon drove for about 1.5 hours.
At $16 for 30amp service, the Comanche RV park is priced just right. We could have paid $18 for 50 amp but that wasn’t necessary. Good place for an overnight stop.
