Hi everyone. This is an update from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since our last update from San Antonio, TX, we left San Antonio and went to Ozona, TX, absolutely out in the middle of nowhere arriving there on a Sunday afternoon. That evening our daughter Lisa's boyfriend called to tell us that Lisa was in the emergency room because she had been feeling dizzy and almost passing out. They were going to keep her overnight and perform a variety of tests.
The weather turned horribly cold in Ozona so we decided to stay put while awaiting updates on Lisa. After several days the weather warmed up but still no diagnosis of Lisa's condition. We decided to return to Georgetown, TX and keep tabs on Lisa. On Feb. 15th my sister Roxie, who leaves near Houston, called to tell me that her husband passed away the previous day. We had seen Roxie and Jim a couple of weeks earlier when we began our westward journey. Roxie told us not to come to the funeral because as soon as it was over she was going to crash after all of the stress of the past several months; said it would be better to see us in a couple of weeks.
A week later Lisa was back at work without a definitive diagnosis of her condition, which has fortunately disappeared. After a couple of weeks in Georgetown we left to visit my sister and have some repair work done on our travel trailer. Before we left my sister's place we got a call from Lisa telling us that her second son was in the hospital. Our grandson spent several days in the hospital and was released without a definitive diagnosis. So, back to Georgetown for another couple of weeks.
On March 13th we finally departed Georgetown for the third time, leaving Lisa and her family in good health. I will begin posting updates on the places we visited since that time.
