Sullivan's Travels travel blog

Dan has been golfing his brains out, four days in a row. His body generally demands a break after two days, so he's been doing good, he's still able to walk. He's going to take a rest now over the upcoming weekend.

I spend my days just doing whatever comes up. I had good intentions of taking a nice long bike ride on Thursday but as I was passing by Evelyn's, I saw there was something going on in her garage. A neighbor was squaring up a quilt and I had to watch. By then it was lunch time and I never made it back out past the patio. What's nicer than visiting with neighbors outside in perfect weather, keeping an eye on the birds. Today between Andrea, Agnes, Betty, I, a couple pair of binoculars and Agnes' bird books, we were watching to see what's nesting in Bill's palm tree and it has been decided we have a pair of Hooded Orioles and a pair of House Finches building homes in the same tree.

We've been checking on the Minnesota weather, sure hope it warms up so we can get up there in time for Easter. We hate to leave this nice weather, it has been perfect, warm and dry. We are loving the cart rides each evening in the soft air and the sunsets are spectacular.
