Entry number 100 in the blog! A milestone!
We've come inland a bit, to Louviers just south of Rouen. Doing a little bit of walking in the ancient Louviers forest, before heading to Rouen tomorrow, and then back to the coast.
Only 6 days until we leave. It's strange, we're definately in wind-down mode. We've started to do such practical things, like make arrangements for the handover of the house, getting our jobs organised, putting the van up for sale. This is definately all coming to an end, isn't it?
We're looking forward to coming home, though, and that's how it should be. It's great to travel, but it's great to return. Especially when such exciting things are happening at home. Two babies have arrived since we left: my friend Jenny had her baby girl, Anna, in January, and now just this morning, Nick's niece Becki has had a baby boy, Jacob John. Can't wait to see the new arrivals, as well as catch up with everybody else.
But there's those 6 days left and so we've got to extract every ounce of fun out of them.
Allons-y!!

Just a quick note to say I wouldn't bother going to Rouen if I were you. The cathedral is ok, the one Monet painted hundreds of times, but the square where Joan of Arc was executed is hideous, with a horrible ugly modern church in the middle. Generally not a very well kept city, and we didn't stay long.
Bye the noo!
