For the two weeks we've been in in the San Diego area its been simply marvelous. Though due to the increased cost of diesel we didn't go out and tour as much as we'd like to have, read about the places we DID see.

One of the highlights of our stay was a day with Dave's Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Ron. They live in Escondido but came out to the preserve, picked us up and drove us around on a tour of the San Diego area. We saw Imperial Beach, The Silver Strand, Coronado, La Jolla, Old Town San Diego, the famous beaches including Mission Bay and Pacific Beach, then over to Balboa Park and lastly to their home. Whew! It was a busy and wonderful day. We hope you enjoy the pictures.
