Our lot at Oceanside RV Park

The beach right across the road.

View from our bedroom window, what more can I ask for!

Home for a week.

We left this morning by 9:00 am without any issues. We had 175 miles to go so it was a leisurely drive. We stopped and had brunch at a Stripes, we had a breakfast taco. The RV park we were planning on staying at didn't take reservations, so when I called to see if they had anything available when we were on the road, they let me know they were full. I had another option picked out, and they had a spot open and held it for us.

We are on Mannolia Beach about eight miles south of Port Lavaca, we are staying at Oceanside RV Park, the price is $125 for the week, and our spot is great, we have awesome views. The park is small, only about 20 spots. We are in spot #1 which is by far the best one!

Come to find out that you can park right on the beach here for nothing, and a lot of people are. Granted being parked there you don't have any hookups, but it would've been cool for a couple of days. Maybe we'll come by here again sometime!

We took a drive into Port Lavaca to a Walmart to pick up a couple things. We stopped at the DQ for a very late lunch(it actually ended up being our dinner).

We took a walk down to the beach after we got home and called it a night.
