After spending a week in my brother Steve's backyard, we have moved on. Thanks Steve for letting us mooch off your electricity and water and use the bathroom in your new house you haven't even moved into yet. You're the best.
We had wonderful weather while we were in Phoenix. No wonder so many people live there. Beautiful blue skies and temps in the 70s and 80s and no humidty. We saw hot air balloons floating over Steve's house almost every evening. And the stars at night were gorgeous. We had a very good time spending time with my niece Shelley and her husband Tommy and our West Branch friends, Dale and Karen Buhlman. Ed and Dale played golf several times (they even let me play with them once)and we were able to get together a couple of times for dinner and to play Joker one evening. It is always fun for us to meet up with folks we know while we are on the road.
We are moving on to our last chapter in this winter's journey. We are headed for Lake Roosevelt in eastern Arizona and will meet up with Tim and Sue Eyth and then head north to Flagstaff, Page and eventually to Utah. Don't know what chapter in life you are on, but hope it has a happy ending. My brother, Steve, is starting a new chapter in his life's book by getting married again in a few weeks. I wish him and Carol well and best wishes for a very happy future. Glad we could spend a little time with you before the big event.
