Mural in town
Our caching took us to Lake Placid a small town with wonderful murals on the building walls. Go to the Chamber Of Commerce of Lake Placid and get a map of the buldings. We had to go to certain mural in the town and note dates and numbers on the mural. One mural was at a train station museum, on the outside of the building was a mural and we had to find the date the station was built. With that information in hand we had to add that number to the date on the sign next to the old steam train to be able to get the next coords to the next mural. Each step took us closer to the final stage , where the cache container was hidden. It was hidden in a very nice small city park. If not for GEOCACHING we would not have seen these mural on the walls in town nor would we have seen the city parks and all the wonderful places to visit in florida.
