The temperature got into the eighties today and of course there is no shade, so we spent the day inside. Doug has been having difficulties sleeping at night and this afternoon while he was typing something on his computer he drifted ofF and found a long line of ccccccccc's on his page when he awoke.
JoAnn spent most of the day on routine household chores, baking dessert for tomorrow's farewell feast with the group & reading. She also printed out tax forms and spent some time working on them. We have really got into this non agenda, no schedule life style. That coupled with the silence and beauty of the desert has really been enjoyable for us. We plan on leaving Sunday to head back to Tucson and neither one of us really want to leave our little paradise to get back into the noise and traffic and to-do of city life.
This evening we went down the Jim and Ellie' s where our whole group met for happy hour. Later Doug grilled some steaks outside. Fillmore was outside while Doug was grilling and he unloaded the basement of the trailer of his kong, a tennis ball and his frisbee. Doug ignored him and he played a game of ball with himself until JoAnn fussed at him for deliberately rolling it under the trailer and then going to get it. Another beautiful sunset tonight!
Tomorrow we will set up as much as we can prior to Sunday's departure.
