Almost completed - almost ready to set upon the new adventure in...
PraiseIn on Friday night is a weekly blessing and great event.
| Blessings come in many forms. Sometimes they are a loving spoken word or a kind gesture. Many times blessings are far greater than just a word or an action, they are many words, emotions, actions and opportunities placed together for a cause and effect that becomes an eternal commitment. We have been at Teen Challenge for the past several days visiting our youngest daughter, Jennifer who has been a student here for a little over a year. In this past 365 plus days Jennifer has done a 180 degree turn in her life because of the commitment of a staff of dedicated, directed and loving individuals who are willing to get in the way of un-Godly actions and work to correct a persons thinking to a path of Godly commitment and behavior. To see the change is the Teen Challenge students is a blessing of eternal proportions. To meet the Teen Challenge staff is an honor and to be able to share the word of God with the staff and students in an incredible honor, of which Barb and I have been twice blessed! What is any of our futures is uncertain, except for eternity. What is in the future for Teen Challenge students is an opportunity seek eternity, but also to carve out an earthly future that is in God's plan. How better could it get than that? So, to Jennifer, our daughter who is making a Christian commitment, to the Teen Challenge who give so much of their time, talent, and emotions to bring to focus the love, grace and opportunity of our Lord Jesus Christ to every individual with whom they encounter, THANK YOU, thank you so much. The future is yours! |
