| An early start ın Bozburun catching a very packed mini bus back to Marmaris. Got there just in time to catch the next bus to Pamukkale. Fascinating ride over the mountains. Coffee was served on the bus apparently on the bumpiest section of road! Vıa the "cousins" network (everyone here seems to be a cousin!) we were transferred off the bus into a mini bus into a family run pensione. We walked up the travertines and pools to the Hieropolis (thermal cure centre founded in 190BC). In the evening we had a lovely dinner with the family in the pensione during a thunderstorm. |
