To those of you who have been asking, NO, you have not been dropped from our journal. I have just been very lazy. By the time I get around to making an entry, I have lost the excitement of it. So, to make it short, we have had some very SCARY trips, very cold weather (-21 wind chill) and some very fun times. Even I need a rest some times.
On Sunday, we are leaving here to go see Belle Starr (you all remember Belle) for awhile. We are then heading up to Benson, to see the progress at Arizona Legends (an rv park).
We are also going to check with some camphost positions we have been offered. Some in Benson, and one in Texas Canyon.
Oh yeah, I have a job! (volunteer) I walk dogs at the local shelter 2 days a week. It gives me my fix for having a dog, and it helps them out too. I love it.
Sue has been well, but really missing home this year. There have been some events that you really want to be closer to home for. But, things work out. That is why we are looking for a smaller rv, so we can head out for just a month at a time, or whatever. That's my story, and I am sticking to it.
She has been learning some new painting techniques. And, doing alot of reading. Even I have needed time to recharge. Being retired is exhausting.
Well, there you have it in a nutshell. We pray you are all well. We know some of you are getting to escape the frozen tundra for awhile this winter. We are glad for you. As for the rest of you, hang in there. It is almost over, you will survive, AND YOU MAKE US PROUD.
We will miss the Vasaloppet ski race this weekend. We love that time of winter. Maybe next year. Reece and Emma are sking it, I believe. They did last year too. That I want to see.
Take care, and we love you all.
