Holla...

Another day, our last day in Paradise!

I woke up to the smell of coffee in our room. Mr. Roque had already started the coffee maker and I believed I had died and gone to heaven. What a place this is!!!! You open your eyes and stare directly at the rain forrest, unbelievable.

I decided to drink my cup on the balcony and opened my laptop to see if I found anyone online.

My Uncle was online, he called my dad who said he'd be home in an hour or so.

I talked to him for a while, then my sister Melanie came on line, I talked to her for a while.....

We went out for breakfast and walked the grounds of this absolutely gorgeous place!

We walked down a path quite a ways before we came across the waterfalls. I mean, WATERFALLS.

The trails are just as dense as you can imagine the Rainforest to be. Green in so many different hues.... unbelievable.

Each tree looks different from the next. The waterfalls are impressive to say the least! they're huge!

The sound of the water colliding in the pool underneath is so loud that you can't hear each other speak.

The trail leads you on a path of three waterfalls and at the end you can take the shuttle back.... which of course we didn't do. We decided to walk our breakfast off a bit and walk back up to the lodge.

Niq and Ella were online so I got to see them for a little while, the internet connection wasn't the greates but it worked for a while.

I went shopping in the gift shop while Hector went on a trip to the Poas Volcano. I wanted to kick back, read, soak a while in the jacuzzi on our balcony.... I made the best of my time in the Peace Lodge...

Hector came back around 3:30 and we walked down to eat some lunch/dinner.

We relaxed for a while in our room, went to check out and came back to our room to pack up our things.

We're leaving at 5 am tomorrow, our plane leaves at 8:30am.

We sat and reflected on our vacation at the restaurant where we had dessert and coffee. We've both decided that we did everything we wanted to do and feel that we've made the most of our week in Costa Rica.

We're amazed by what this country has to offer. We're grateful to have made new friends !!!

God's touch on this country is amazing. He's thought of it all and planted it in Costa Rica!

If it weren't for my girls and my grandbabies... I wouldn't be heading back any time soon!

Thanks for going on this journey with us!

Pura Vida!!!!
