Waiting for the TGV train
| Today the boys returned from their school snowboarding trip. We picked them up at the bus and then went to collect Katie early from her school. The whole family accompanied Katie and Mom to the train station to see them off on their weekend trip to Paris. After a beautiful sunset over the Provencal hills viewed from the train, it was dark – not much to see. In fact, Katie fell asleep in the train and had a hard time waking up when we got to Paris. We checked into the hotel and then, due to the sleepiness of one little ray of sunshine, we found a place right next to the hotel where we could get a quick dinner. After some delicious pizza, we went back to the room where Katie was able to “catch” the last few minutes of WWE Smackdown – a Friday night favourite. (The kids have developed quite a taste for wrestling here in France – who knew it was so popular!) |
