I'm not going to say about about our excursion to Arles and Saints Maries de la Mer, but there are photos to explain for me!
I didn't take many photos in Saints Maries de la Mer because by that time, I was so sick of the freezing wind that I didn't want to pull my hands out of my pocket, except to adjust the scarf covering my entire face.
When you see the photos, think "Gladiator." Some of the photos are taken of ancient Roman houses, quite similar to the one you may have seen of King Leonitis from the movie, 300. It was actually pretty awesome to walk through it...
Things that I didn't take photos of, that maybe I will when it warms up, include some old churches in Saints Maries, as well as le jardinier of Van Gogh in Arles (garden of Van Gogh), as well as the Cafe de Nuit from his other paintings. Needless to say, he stayed there for some time.
And for all of you in Portland, if you're curious what the bright blue background is, it is, well, the sky :)
