| Just to let you all know, we're still alive and well and made it to New Zealand! Too many wilderness adventures and not much internet access to keep the old blog going for now. We'll update sometime we promise! Some highlights: Being dropped off on ninety mile beach and watching a bus dissapear Accidently running a B+B - 5 star service assured Having rice alla beef water at our wilderness campsite Discovering we have a love hate relationship with ducks and fixing wetsuits Climbing Mt.Doom - Ring destroyed, no worries Being blown backwards by gnarley winds on west coast beaches Drowning like a rat on the wettest walk of our lives Pancake rocks! Making our own hot tub on the beach Taking the best route ever to cross a stream, running straight through and discovering it was deeper than expected Best fire cooked christmas dinner ever Sneaking passed a closed track to get wicked glacier views Parrots eating Stave's shoes There are some more pics up on the picasa website - some of the north island and mexico - peruse at your leisure and guess which highlight goes with which :-) Adios The sombrebros :-) |
