Lake Te Anau

Lake Te Anau

Hello!

Today we slept in until about eleven before we packed up to drive to Te Anau. The drive took about two hours, and we only stopped to watch sheep dogs herd about two hundred sheep into a pen. The weather switched between rain and sun. When we finally arrived in Te Anau, we went hotel hunting. It was too wet to camp so we tried about five different hotels. We decided on the Red Tussock Hotel, we got a little cottage with a queen bed and two singles, two rooms, two bathrooms with a kitchen. I love the little lodge; it’s very cute. The weather is still weird though, once we looked out one window and it was pouring, and we looked out the other window and the sun was shining! Very unpredictable. We made dinner, played on the trampoline and explored town. We ended the day by making cookies, watching Marley and Me, and playing cards. We had a pretty lazy day, but fun and relaxing! I can’t believe there is only four days until Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!
