I have decided that goodbyes are much harder when you don't know when or even if you will see someone again.

To start off the night, my housefamily took me out to dinner. They had me order everything that is from Southern France as my last bearnaise meal. It was delicious! It was a sad evening though. This was the last night with the family and the last time I got to see my roommate since she was leaving early the next morning on vacation. I think that was one of the hardest goodbyes. After tears on both ends, we exchanged emails and I headed out to say goodbye to my other friends.

A big group of the exchange students went to La Garage to have one last soiree before going our separate ways. It was a fun night, but it was a rollercoaster ride. It was a great way to end my time in Pau before heading to Paris for my final weekend.
