| We got back on the road today, bound for Colville, Washington to spend Christmas with our son Brian, his wife Heather, & the grandkids that they have provided us, Micah, Joelle, & IsabelKate. Our other son Kevin will be joining us there for a few days with the grandkids that he has provided us, Cameron & Tori. After taking care of some personal business this morning, we finally got on the road late morning & made 350 miles to the WalMart in Lonoke, Arkansas. Though it will be about 1100 miles longer, we are taking I-40 west to California, then I-5 north into Oregon & other roads to Colville, due north from Spokane, due to the bad weather currently occurring & being forecast for the more northern & shorter routes. |
